Upsy Down Town 11/08/2009

I absolutely cannot have enough of this book.  Mama and I picked this up from the national library.
This is a book by Sue Hendra. It's fun, it's colorful and it rhymes. Take a peek at one of the inside page and you know what I mean, the words in the books describe exactly the pictures in the illustration.
In upsy Down Town, the sheep are in the tress,
Cows hang off the branches where the birds should be.
You walk upon your nose, instead of on your toes,
In the world of Upsy Down Town.
This is an excellent book for pre-readers.

No honey please! 07/23/2009

Last Sunday, mummy finally took out the Mamil Gold FM with honey for me to try out.  She tasted it, it is actually less sweet than the usual Mail Gold FM.  I don't care what's in there, I just love milk.  But next morning, I have rashes again, a little on the neck, shoulder and forehead.  A little redness on the upper left eye lid.  But worst of all was mummy heard a heavy breathing, that sounds like phlegm in the throat.

So there goes my honey milk, back into the shelf.  When I grow a little more........

I love oats! 07/01/2009

Somehow, I don't seems to take to wheat well.  Although mummy is not sure if I have some kind of bad reactions (heat rash, blouted stomach) to wheat still, wheat is temporary off my diet.  But no problem, I love oats!  My favourite snack is organic oat cereal, which mummy bought from a shop in Forum Gallery.  And I just tested the Nestle oats with prune sample, love it as well!

I made it to the hall of fame!

Hello mummies out there, here's a FREE motherhood magazine for you.  Of course, you will see me in the beautiful babies contest (page 23).

As daddy entered the main entrance of the living room, he was startled.  I go pa pa pa pa pa and he grinned his teeth. hahha that was fun.  So no more guessing, my first word is pa-pa.  And I rhyme it all day long for 3 days.

And I took my first longest walk, from the passenger lift to granny house. As I was approaching the door, I got stage fright as granny and gu-gu stood and watched me.   But mummy was there with me all the time and I did it!

What an achievement at 13 month old!

Every little robots is
              good at something!

The Little Robots live in the shadow of a Nut and Bolt Tree, in a fantastic corrugated realm they have constructed for themselves beaneath a gigantic scrap heap. The robots's little world has its own automated Day-Night lever, which is used to turn the dome of sky above their heads 180 degrees and bring them under the influence of their own self-created little sun and moon. Now they can get on with the important things in life, like getting along with each other, discovering new friends and things and creating a jolly home for themselves...

Tiny is the little leader of the gang, a keen blue robot with a flip-top head, used to store tools. It's Tiny who lead the way through the scrap heap down to their new home. Joining him are the ever-energetic Sporty robot, exuberant Noisy, bossy Spotty, the twins Sparky One and Sparky Two, teddy-loving Stripy, Stretchy the robot engineer, Messy the robot dog, the vampirific Scary robot, and Flappy the robot bat.

The main stories are presented in 10 minute scripts. They focus mainly on the life of the robots as a community, often dealing with topics such as resolution of conflicts, collaboration and friendship. Several shorter stories have been produced, called Little Robots Learn. These short pieces are much different from the main stories, with the characters 'interacting' with the viewers, introducing simple topics like gravity, contraptions, sounds, counting and even confidence and self-esteem, sometimes featuring a song.
