There are eleven robots in the TV series.  Each robot has a distinct quality and a certain "role" in the world.

* Tiny - The central character of the story. A keen blue robot with a flip-top red antenna head.  It has a red button in the belly that opens the cover of the head, uncovering a pair of tools to repair machines and robots. He is also responsible for throwing the lever of the Day-Night in the correct times. Tiny lives in the Arbol of Nut and Latch, lever of together to the right Night Day. He has a positive view in things, and always try to help his friends to live in peace and harmony together. He is expressed by Hayley Carmichael.

Messy - The robot dog worships the disorderly and dirty things. It is known as "Messy, the Wonderhound".

* Sporty - the strongest robots among his peers with attack power.  Sporty is obsessed with running, playing, exercising and getting hurt. He has his own private gymnasium with a springboard and a transporting tape. He is expressed by Lenny Henry.

Stretchy - the organized and efficient robot. He is responsible for classifying the stuff that comes from the slide in the deposit of scrap. He is blue and tall and has a flexible long neck. Stretchy is a legitimate workaholic, and lives his days sorting out junk that comes into their world through the chute. He lives and play in the deposit of scrap, inside an abandoned radiator. 

* Rusty - A small and sensitive female robot, she has a red dress made of rusty metal, with a funnel over the head. She lives in a rusty old bucket.  She is always full of new ideas in how to improve and redecorate her home. She is personage, childish and very impulsive and accident prone.  The tense situations sometimes causes overexcitement and causes overheating that frees puffs of vapor. She also has a crush on Sporty. She is expressed by Morwenna Banks.

* Stripy - Large and done with colored lines of metal, he is the exact opposite of Sporty. He moves and speaks slowly.  He is, however, a deep and introspective thinker.  He is also a specialist in flower and a great communicator. His best friend is terry, a metallic teddy bear.  His favorite activities are gardening and story telling. He is expressed by Martin Clunes.

* Noisy - it speaks loudly and her laughter is unforgettable.  Noisy has a trumpet for a nose.  She is a great artist, she can play instruments, writes and sings.  She worships any kind of noise that she can produce. Her passion for music and the loud noise often can be uncomfortable for her friends.  She lives in an old drum, with an entrance of xylophone-themed. She is expressed by Su Pollard.

* Spotty - is yellow, and full of colour spots and she wears a spectacle. She can withdraw into a rounded ball and roll to her destination quickly at fast speed. She has a strong personality and very bossy.  She sets the rules and orders and always giving orders which often cause conflicts with her friends. She dreams to be an artist. She is expressed by Emma Chambers.

Scary - It is purple in colour with a black pair of wings.  Scary has a low self-esteem.  He is always going round to frighten his friends but ended up unsuccessful and hurmouring them instead..  He lives with Flappy the Bats.  He is expressed by Mike Hayley.

* The Twins of Sparky - Sparky One and Sparky Two are two energetic twins that loves to dance and joke. Sparky One is red whileas Sparky Two is yellow in the belly. They communicate through exchanging electric rays using their antenna heads.  Their favourite high-five slogan is GIMMIE THREE, SPARKEE! They both lives in a pair of speakers by an old unprecedented turntable. They are expressed by Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins.

Other characters are Flappy the Bats, and the Robbery-Birds, that often plays the supporting roles in the story.
